ASTRAZENECA HOPE LODGE BOSTON

Facing cancer is hard. Having to travel out of town for treatment can make it even harder.
Our Hope Lodge® communities provide free, temporary lodging for people facing cancer
and their caregivers when treatment is far from home. Hope Lodge guests don't just find a
place to stay - they find a community of support and an emotional connection with others
facing the same journey. Hope Lodge communities also support over 225 referring
hospitals, as well as the local economies in more than 30 locations.
HOPE HAS A HOME
The American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge®, which opened in 2008, offers 45
guest rooms located near treatment centers in the area. The Hope Lodge in Boston reduces
financial strain, makes treatment more accessible, and improves the quality of life for
thousands of cancer patients each year.
HOPE LODGE IS MORE THAN A PLACE TO SLEEP
As unique non-medical facilities, our network of Hope Lodge communities provide much
more than a free place to sleep - it's a nurturing community that helps patients access the
care they need. The Hope Lodge community offers a supportive homelike environment
where guests can share a meal, join in the evening's activities, or unwind in their own
private room.
